We were due to pick up the car at 5.30pm but were informed by the host about half an hour before that, that he couldn't find the car anymore. It then turned out the car had been impounded and was not at the expected location. This was despite us making the booking over a week in advance.
The host then offered us another one of his vehicles, however due to this hassle I had to make a few phone calls to Turo and was also charged an extra £250 refundable deposit as the trip was now deemed higher risk, as it was a new car booked last minute. The deposit was refunded in full at the end of the trip, but this caused us some stress and also delayed our pick up by a couple of hours while everything was being arranged. This could have been avoided by the host checking on the car in advance.
The replacement car was fine, however it had low tyre pressure warning on the whole time (the host explained it was due to a fault with the monitoring system and we could safely ignore it, but it is not ideal). The replacement car also came without a spare tyre and without a repair kit, which the host told us was normal, but to me it wasn't ideal. As the host had to arrange the replacement car last minute, it also had less than half tank of fuel when we picked it up.
During the drop off, we wanted to drop off the car 4 hours earlier, but we found out that we can't drop the car off before 2pm at that location unless we pay an exorbitant parking fee (it was £25 for 2 hours, including diesel surcharge). This is not the host's fault, but worth keeping in mind. This is a contactless pick up and drop off but it doesn't mean you can drop it off whenever you want.
Overall the host was nice and friendly, and the replacement car served us fine during our trip. However, we had a stressful few hours at the start and I felt that if the host had checked on the original car a bit beforehand we could have avoided this last minute panic and rebook
I done my absolute best and provided my own personal vehicle. The original bookedvehicle was left in a disabled bay by the previous renter so it was impounded.
The time between the last rental and yours was 2 hours so there was not much chance of checking. Hosts have upto 24hrs to check a vehicle on return.
Modern cars do not come with a spare tyre as a cost saving method from manufacturers, there was a repair kit, however if you have not used it before it may have been tricky.

I made a road trip and it worked well! The host was responsive when I had questions.
The car has scratch marks and bumps since before, and was abit dirty, it had some dust marks from a cycle tire in the back seat.
But it drives well, and was spacious, both in front seat and back seat. Had nice seats.
The trunk was also spacious.
