Unfortunately, the host did not stick to the agreement to meet at the car at the scheduled time to hand over the keys. When we arrived, we couldn't contact the owner—neither via the app nor the phone number I had for him. Technical support was unable to help us. We spent 45 minutes figuring out that the host had hidden the keys near the car and that the key fob battery was dead, requiring us to hold it against the ignition to start the engine. After we figured this out and drove off, the owner got in touch to apologize, explaining he had been handing over another car beforehand. The car is older and has some dings, but it is fully functional. Unfortunately, it wasn't handed over with a full tank—it was only about half full; since we didn't know the tank's capacity, we ended up refueling much more than necessary just to reach the halfway mark. After the trip, the owner apologized for the delay during the morning handover, but that didn't give us back the time we had lost.

I am really sorry I had to be in south London for the exact same time to deliver another vehicle at 7am
The option for a full tank was not added Turo requires a minimum of a quarter tank the vehicle had half a tank. I did offer for you to keep the car till the next day as an apology for the inconvenience and I couldn’t call you as you didn’t have a uk registered number +420 720 356 667 I tried calling this this number 11 times. Please do see my other reviews I’m sorry I couldn’t meet you in
Lovely car for a road trip. My wife and I had the best time exploring the UK coastline in this car. The drive is smooth, comfortable, and the fuel lasts for a long time! The host was fantastic, check-in was quick and straightforward. Definitely going to be booking again!
