The car was due to service repair and apparently had engine oil missing. I had to call Road assistance. It took me 4 hours wait and 40 pounds uber to get the family back to the house.
The 4-hour delay stemmed from communication issues with Ron, who was hard to reach after reporting the problem. He responded 2 hours later and asked the RAC to arrive another 2 hours later. This poor communication delayed assistance. When they arrived, they diagnosed a sensor issue that the RAC fixed to continue his trip.
I also have no recollection of Uber fees being paid, and these fees seem unrelated, as the cab screenshot he sent was not near the car’s location.

Car was great. Communication and pick up experience was poor. Host requested me to change pick up time but had delays in response leaving me to wait outside for about 30 minutes at night and leaving me to navigate parking for the night. Person I dealt with was different from listed host which was confusing, likely contributing to communication challenges.
The renter is a grown adult who acts like a child and is quite difficult to deal with, especially when things don’t go his way. Nobody forced him to collect the car at night. He changed the trip to start at 8 PM and arrived 40 minutes early, expecting the keys. When I refused to give him the keys early, he said he was going home and demanded I deliver the car to him, which I refused. At checkout, he claimed to be outside with the vehicle, which he wasn’t, leaving us waiting for his arrival.
