Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this host based on my experience.
The rental started with the host arriving approximately 30 minutes late for the vehicle handover. During my trip, my return airport changed, and I communicated this in advance. The host quoted me a £100 Heathrow fee in writing, which I agreed to and paid as instructed.
After the trip, the experience became extremely stressful. While I was driving to Heathrow Airport, the host repeatedly contacted me both through the Turo platform and directly by phone and text message asking why I wasn’t answering. I had already advised him that I was driving and would respond once it was safe to do so. I found the repeated contact while I was operating a vehicle to be distracting and unnecessary.
The host then attempted to claim additional charges beyond what had been agreed, resulting in a dispute that required Turo Support to investigate. I was also contacted by Turo regarding an off-platform cash payment that the host had requested, something I will never agree to again because it created unnecessary complications.
While the reimbursement issue was eventually resolved, the entire process was unnecessarily stressful and could have been avoided by following Turo’s policies and communicating professionally.
Based on my experience, I would not rent from this host again.

I chose this car/host because it had good reviews. Unfortunately my experience was awful - the car broke down within a couple of hours. I was left stranded outside of London with my toddler and feel like much was not done to resolve it and instead was quite blaming. Mechanical issues are not my responsibility as it is a hire car. I understand these things happen with cars but the overall experience and response made the experience terrible.
