Really positive experience overall! The owner was lovely, very friendly and polite, and the whole process was straightforward and hassle-free. The car was economical to run and perfect for what we needed. The exterior could have been a little cleaner, but that really didn't bother us. The tyre pressure warning light also came on during our trip, so just something to be aware of, although it didn't cause us any issues. The location was incredibly convenient for us, and it's great to know the owner has a few other cars available too. Would happily rent from them again and definitely recommend!
I had the car rental experience with Mirza! He was very communicative and fast in responding to any queries, the car drives very well and it’s also fuel efficient. Had a great experience renting this Fiat 500C! The hosts were incredibly accommodating and flexible with the pickup. Due to an issue with my driving licence, I had to collect the car at around 2am, and they stayed up to make sure everything went smoothly. That alone deserves five stars! We took the car on a long road trip, covering over 600 km, and spent roughly £70 on fuel, which was pretty reasonable. The car was comfortable, economical and enjoyable to drive. The only small issue was the automatic gearbox, which occasionally displayed an error or struggled to select the right gear. We eventually worked out how to get it going again, and it didn't significantly affect our trip, but it's something worth checking. Overall, a really positive experience, especially thanks to the hosts' kindness and flexibility. I'd happily rent from them again!

Is third-party auto liability insurance provided for trips on Turo?
Turo has arranged for third-party auto liability policy to be provided by ERS (Syndicate 218 at Lloyd’s) managed by IQUW Syndicate Management Limited, arranged via Turo’s broker, Lockton Companies LLP — you get unlimited coverage for bodily injury or death to others while coverage for motor third-party property damage is up to £20,000,000.*
How do I get discounts on cars in London?

Are there discounts on weekly or monthly trips?

What payment methods does Turo accept?
Turo accepts most credit cards issued by major financial institutions, including American Express and Discover cards, as well as debit cards with a Visa or Mastercard logo that are linked to a checking account.
Apple Pay and Google Pay on mobile devices are also accepted, but Turo does not accept cash or checks as valid payment methods.
What is the cancellation policy for guests on Turo?
You can cancel and get a full refund up to 24 hours before your trip starts. If you book a trip with less than 24 hours’ notice, you have one hour after booking to cancel free of charge. If you cancel after the free cancellation period ends, you will be charged a small cancellation fee.

No. Unlike rental car companies, Turo is a peer-to-peer car sharing marketplace where you can book directly from trusted local car owners in the US, Canada, and the UK. Turo does not own any vehicles — Turo hosts share their own personal cars and set their own prices, discounts, vehicle availability, and delivery options.
How does renting a car from a Commercial Host on Turo work?
Commercial Hosts are Turo-approved independent rental car companies or small rental car businesses that rent out their cars on Turo, and are available in countries all over the world.
Unlike the usual peer-to-peer Turo experience, you may be asked to sign a rental agreement or provide a refundable security deposit when you rent a car with Commercial Hosts. Commercial Hosts also provide their own physical damage protection and insurance.
Are there cars available near the London airports?
Yes, there are hundreds of cars available on Turo at locations near London Heathrow Airport. To save time, have your car rental alternative delivered for pick-up and dropoff at your London airport and skip the rental counter at Heathrow Airport, Stansted Airport, Gatwick Airport, Luton Airport, London Southend Airport, and London City Airport!

Is there a fee to add additional drivers to my trip?
You can add additional drivers to your trip on Turo. Only the guest who booked the trip can request to add drivers; Turo hosts cannot do it for you. We encourage you to request to add additional drivers before your trip starts, though guests in the US and Canada can request to add a driver while a trip is in progress.
To speed up the process, have your additional driver create a Turo account and get approved to drive before you request to add them. All drivers must have a valid driver’s license and meet the age requirements for the car you’ve booked. You can request to add drivers any time via the “Trips” tab in the Turo app.
