WARNING REGARDING THIS HOST'S MAINTENANCE STANDARDS AND CAR CONDITION.
While this host may have positive reviews, I must caution potential renters about the severe and systemic safety hazards I experienced. The vehicle was delivered with a smoke odor and, shortly after departure, suffered critical equipment failures: a low AdBlue warning, a deflated tyre, and dangerously failed windscreen wipers. The heavily aged wiper blades smeared water across the glass, and during evening driving on an A-road at sixty miles an hour, the glare from oncoming traffic straight into the smeared windscreen caused complete blindness, creating a traumatic near-miss collision hazard. This vehicle was unroadworthy and illegal to drive under UK law.
Renting this car reflects a negligent approach to fleet safety and maintenance by the host, and a formal complaint, including photographic evidence of all defects, was submitted to Turo administration.

However, some of the language used presents the situation far more severely than the facts support. We would also respectfully remind guests that fuel is not free, and neither is additional mileage.
