We were disappointed that the car was damaged when we arrived and we were not made aware of this, even though we had been in communication days ahead. We had paid for airport pick up and drop off but was handed the ticket to pay for parking. Communication was a bit confusing and the car wasn’t the cleanest.(covered in dog hair in the boot) The car drove well, had good gas mileage. Just felt we had to explain constantly to places we stayed about having a damaged car. Not a scratch…a side swipe.
I am disappointed with the lack of appreciation for going the extra mile since the lead driver had bought a temporary license, which Turo cancelled with no refund. at that time I should have walked away. instead, I offered to minimise the impact to their trip. They could have hired a Hertz car of whatever for a lot more money. Parking at airport is 30 pounds each time I paid one of them, the extra fuel I need, and the time taken 2hours each time. I have updated the description.

The car drives very well and was incredibly fuel efficient. Ho-tak was so great to deal with a flexible and gave some great advice and recommendations. Would rent from him again 10\10

The car worked perfectly for our family trip around the highlands. The host was gracious when I wasn’t able to meet at the original drop off time, and didn’t have time to refuel. They went the extra mile for our vacation and this vehicle made for a comfortable efficient mode of transportation for our meandering through the winding roads.
