I choose this particular car because of it's size, quality, and because the listing had "will deliver within 10 miles". I paid the fee, booked the car and sent a message to the owner. I told him that I was 6 miles away and requested that the car be delivered. He did not respond for two days and said that he could not fulfill the request, which is frustrating since it was one of the main reasons for booking this car. And now, I was outside of the "cancel within 24 hours" period. Spent money on a taxi to pick up the car. When I picked it up, immediate faint smell of weed. Not overwhelming, but noticeable. At this point, I had no other option but to drive it.
He reached out a few days into the booking to check in. I told him the car drives great, but has a faint smell of weed. No response, no apology, no explanation. At the end of the trip, I asked again if they could pickup the car since I was now only 2 miles away at a hotel. Again, no was the answer - I drove the car and dropped it off. Took a bus to get back to my hotel.
Never again. Disappointing booking.
