I would not recommend to rent a car from this host again. It was a very unpleasant experience.
Firstly, the original car I booked at Coventry was cancelled and they changed to this car for me. However, they never change the pickup address for the new car to Coventry and I have to double confirm a few times to make sure the car would be at Coventry.
Another issue I am not happy with is since the date before picking up the car, the host never responses to any message I sent on Turo. Even I SMS the host, it took ages to get replied. I have to call them a few times when I picked up and returned the car.
Those issues I mentioned I can still tolerate that but the worst thing happened at the end while I returned the car. The host blamed on me about a scratch on the left side of the bumper. He showed me a blurry photo as an evidence. It is ridiculous because during the whole trip, we had no accident or incident and we have never hit anything. The whole trip was so smooth.
The host asked us to pay him privately and told us it would be expensive going through insurance. I refused because it sounds really dodgy and tried to scam us from a pre-existing damage. I have been using Turo for renting a car in Australia since Uber car rental and I have no problem with any host. This experience is so horrible and I strongly do not recommend anyone to rent from this host at all.

Despite the original vehicle becoming unavailable due to maintenance, we honoured your booking by sourcing and transporting a replacement vehicle from London to Coventry. We strive to go above and beyond for our guests, maintained communication throughout, and accommodated your early return. Any damage claim was handled through Turo's standard process. Very clean and smoothly driven car. Easy pickup and drop off in person, as well as flexibility when we had to change our requested pick up time with little notice to give. For any future trips east of London we would certainly contact Mustafa again.
