Great car! Easy pickup and drop off. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. Host very responsive which is much appreciated. Had no issues at all mechanically. Drove smooth with no steering or tire issues. AC and heat worked good. Great price range! Would rent again!

Owner very pleasant to deal with. The car was in very good condition. Excellent gas mileage.

Pick up was simple and easy to do. The greatest difficulty with. Turo was that this was supposed to be a 60th birthday surprise, and there was no easy way to add him as a driver without him knowing. The car was fantastic, and having a convertible on a sunny day is spectacular.
Had a wonderful time and will definitely be working with him again! The car was fun and great gas mileage.
Most convenient rental process and pick up location you can imagine. The car was bomb.

Omaha Eppley Airfield Airport (OMA) is approximately 2.9 miles from Downtown Omaha. The drive typically takes around 5-10 minutes, which makes it a quick and convenient cruise into the city center.
Driving in Omaha is generally relaxed, especially compared to larger cities. Rush hour can be challenging, though, particularly if you're heading east-west from West Omaha through to downtown.
Rush hours are timed with drivers who are commuting from West Omaha into the city center, and it can take around 20-40 minutes to get where you want to go during these periods. If you can avoid Dodge Street, you might skip the traffic, as this is usually where it gets most congested.
During winter, Omaha gets snow and ice, which means roads can get slick. Drive to the conditions, stay vigilant, and keep snow chains and an ice scraper handy if you're planning to visit in winter. As always, drive to the local speed limits, wear a seatbelt, and only operate your phone hands-free.
There's ample parking in Omaha to make your trip seamless. With the city offering both metered and garage parking options, you have plenty of options to park your rental vehicle. You'll find metered parking in Downtown and Midtown Omaha every day except Sunday. There are also lots of parking garages around the downtown area if you're looking to explore around here.
No, there are no toll roads in Omaha, but there is a toll bridge, the Bellevue GAR Memorial Bridge, which can be paid with cash or a toll pass.
There are ample gas stations in Omaha to keep your adventure fueled. Pump your gas at the QuikTrip on West Dodge Road, Casey's on Ida Street, or the Midtown Gas & Grocery on South 13th Street.
If you're renting an electric vehicle, it's easy to find a charging station to hit the road. Charge up at the EVgo Charging Station on West Center Road, the ChargePoint Charging Station on Edward Babe Gomez Avenue, or the Tesla Supercharger, also on West Center Road.
Yes, we definitely recommend renting a car in Omaha. While they do have public transport in the city, you'll want a rental vehicle if you're planning on exploring attractions outside of the city center. Driving from downtown Omaha to the north side takes around 11 minutes, while taking a bus can take up to 40 minutes. If you want the convenience and flexibility of working to your own schedule, a rental car is a great choice.
Whether you want to zip around Omaha in a Honda CR-V 2023, Chrysler Pacifica, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Toyota Camry, or Jeep Wrangler, Turo has you covered.
