Anish was an excellent host—kind, helpful, and very considerate. He answered our questions, helped us with local traffic information, and even left snacks for our road trip, which was such a thoughtful touch. The car was very clean, well maintained, comfortable, and in excellent condition. Communication was great throughout the rental. I would definitely rent from Anish again and highly recommend him. This was simply an amazing experience from start to finish. Kyle is an exquisite host. He met me perfectly on time, and showed me around the car. Functions, controls, features - all of it. He made sure I was fully comfortable before I drove off. He also stayed in touch with me to make sure everything was fine since I was crossing the Canada-US border. The car was simply divine. What a driving machine! Great sound, great handling and the convertible aspect made it the best weekend I’ve had in a long time. Winding roads, pocket rocket at your disposal, and great stopping power for traffic jams. I can’t wait to rent this car again! Thank you again Kyle!

Top tips for renting a car in Etobicoke
Driving in Etobicoke means you’re within Toronto city limits. Like any large city, rush hour traffic can be heavy, so plan your journeys to avoid peak times when possible. Here are some tips to help make your trip easier:
What are the road rules and driving conditions in Etobicoke?
Expect speed limits of 40 km/h in residential areas, up to 100 km/h on highways. When driving in Toronto, you'll often share the road with cyclists, so keep a careful eye out. There are currently no streetcars in Etobicoke, but they're a common sight in other parts of the city.
What is parking like in Etobicoke?
Most free street parking in Etobicoke has a maximum of three hours. If you need to park for longer, use the Green P paid parking areas. You can also find some free parking around GO train stations. Parking will always be harder to find when there's a big race at Woodbine Racetrack.
Are there toll roads in Etobicoke?
Yes. Highway 407 ETR runs through Etobicoke and requires an electronic toll, as there are no toll booths. The eastern portion (Highway 407 East, between Pickering and Clarington) is free, but you must pay to use the western section.
Are there gas stations and EV chargers in Etobicoke?
Yes. Etobicoke is part of Toronto, so you’ll find plenty of places to fill up your tank or charge your electric vehicle. Look out for public EV charging stations along the Queensway and within Sherway Gardens. Many gas stations are open 24/7 and located near major roads, making it easy to refuel before returning your rental car.
Do I need to rent a car in Etobicoke?
Renting a car is the easiest way to get around Etobicoke, allowing you to explore the entire city of Toronto. If you rely on public transport, you may well end up frustrated. The lack of streetcars and poor GO train service in Etobicoke means that journeys on public transport often take much longer than they should.

If you cancel after the free cancellation period ends, you will be charged a cancellation fee.
In the rare event a host cancels, you’ll be notified immediately so you can book another car, or we’ll help you find one. Your refund can be temporarily held to expedite rebooking, or the funds can be returned to your bank account — your choice.
