TL;DR: Rent from MFP. Great cars and more importantly, amazing people. You won't be disappointed! The Car: The LC500 is an absolute masterpiece, and something of an obscure jewel shining in the automotive landscape. With concept car looks, impeccable craftsmanship, a supple ride, and a buttery smooth naturally-aspirated V8 that blends a roaring panther with a lyric soprano, driving the Lexus is a feast for all five senses. Its intoxicating howl alone is well worth the price of admission. If you're looking for a laser-focused canyon carver, look elsewhere. This isn't a sports car. It's a grand tourer of the highest order. I loved almost every moment of my time behind the wheel of this majestic beauty. The Host: MFP Auto has a great selection of high-end vehicles to sample. This was my first time working with Michael and Johnny. During our trip, the Lexus unfortunately suffered a mechanical issue that made it unsafe to drive (we couldn't believe it either; it's a Lexus after all!). Problems happen, even in the most reliable of vehicles; it's how the problems are dealt with that really demonstrate a host's true colours. I can't begin to describe how dedicated, kind, and professional Michael and Johnny were in dealing with our issue. They drove to our Airbnb over an hour from their shop at 1am (that's not a typo, it really was 1am!) and gave us a beautiful Porsche for the remainder of our trip. Our issue with the LC500 could have easily ruined our trip, but Michael and Johnny's dedication to customer satisfaction instead proved one of the highlights of our experience. MFP Auto charges a premium for their rentals over other hosts on Turo. They more than deserve it. The All-Star Host badge they display is a testament to that fact. I'll be back for another round with this stunning piece of Japanese engineering!
