I would not rent this car again.
Even though the host was responsive throughout the rental, there were several mechanical issues during the 4 weeks I had the car.
The day after my rental started, a temperature warning appeared on the dashboard. The host came that same day to refill the coolant. About a week later, multiple brake warning lights appeared. The host took the car for a day to check it, and I had to pick it up myself the next day despite mentioning that I had a busy schedule. At that time, I was told there was a coolant leak, but that it would be fine for the rest of the trip—which unfortunately was not the case.
Two weeks later, the temperature warning came back again. I notified the host in the morning, but they waited until the last minute—when I needed to use the car—to address it, and I had to wait over 45 minutes. The last time the warning appeared, the host came but only dropped off coolant and asked me to refill it myself.
Lastly, the car was not delivered clean on the inside and did not have a full tank of gas.
Overall, while communication was good, the repeated mechanical issues and inconvenience significantly affected my experience.
