Car quality: Great! It was clean on the inside at pickup. It functioned as needed. This may apply to Teslas in general, but the battery life leaves more to be desired. For daily shorter commutes, I think they work well. For longer trips where you commute 1hr+ per trip, it might not be the best selection. I enjoyed driving it and it was wonderful for the cold weather and snow. The ability to warm up and defrost the vehicle remotely was perfect. There seemed to be a discrepancy between the plate number on the app versus what was on the vehicle but it responded to the commands via the Tesla app so I was able to confirm the vehicle. A useful tip for new/newer Tesla drivers would be to precondition the battery for a bit prior to needing a charge to prevent longer charging times. Pickup location: Parking garage at IND INTL Airport Hourly Parking. It was conveniently located for me to walk and pick up vehicle. Paid hourly parking fee once exiting parking garage. Host: Communicative and answered any questions I had. I would recommend this host!

Renting this Tesla was smooth and straightforward overall — the car itself was clean, well-maintained, and a pleasure to drive. I rent Teslas occasionally but don't own one, so I'm familiar enough to get by, but this experience reminded me how much nuance there is to the Tesla ecosystem that casual renters simply won't know. The host did send a video ahead of time, which was a thoughtful gesture — but it was a generic Tesla overview that covered specs, body design, and internals rather than the practical, day-one stuff a renter actually needs. A custom 5–10 minute video focused specifically on setting up your driver profile, dialing in comfort preferences, and getting moving quickly would be infinitely more useful. Something tailored to this car and this rental experience, not a broad Tesla introduction you'd find on YouTube. A simple FAQ or a few annotated screenshots covering things like Supercharger use (and a note that charging costs are handled through Turo so there's no surprise billing) would dramatically reduce friction for first-time or infrequent Tesla renters. The pickup location itself was fine, but the same white-glove principle applies here too. A small but impactful detail: simply letting renters know to look for the red van marked "Pre-Flight," including the parking garage phone number, and providing clear step-by-step instructions to call ahead and let them know you're ready for pickup would eliminate all guesswork. I ended up spending unplanned time researching a process that the host could have explained in two sentences. Removing those friction points — the confusion, the research, the uncertainty — is exactly what separates a good rental from a memorable one. The car is genuinely great and the host clearly takes care of it. These suggestions come from a place of wanting to see this listing reach its full potential — because the foundation is already solid.

I rented a 2025 Tesla Model 3 this past weekend, and overall it was a great experience. The car itself was excellent—clean, modern, and everything worked exactly as expected. There was a small cosmetic issue with some damage on the front right fender above the wheel that wasn’t disclosed beforehand. It didn’t impact the drive at all, but I do think it would’ve been better to mention it in advance for transparency. The pickup process could also be improved a bit. I didn’t receive the digital key until after I landed, which made things a little stressful while coordinating pickup with my daughter as we were leaving the airport. Getting access ahead of time would’ve made for a smoother start. Additionally, the pickup instructions weren’t very clear. As a first-time traveler through BWI, it took some effort to figure out the exact garage location and parking spot since only a photo was provided. A more detailed message with step-by-step directions would be helpful. On the plus side, there was a nice surprise—Full Self-Driving (FSD) was already enabled even though it wasn’t listed, which made the drive much more enjoyable. The host was responsive and accommodating, including approving my request to return the car early without any issues. Overall, despite a few minor hiccups, this was a very positive experience. Now that I know what to expect, I’d definitely rent from this host again and would feel comfortable recommending them to others.

Tesla was great! The Pick up location was a $20 uber from the airport. Parked in the lot across from the Hilton hotel. Car was in great condition and super clean! Highly recommend! Wade was very responsive to all my questions. Ps. The best charging place is at the Jack in The Box in Barrio Logan. (2890 National Ave, San Diego, CA 92113 ) Most of the other super chargers are located inside paid parking garages.

The Tesla was great!!! We will certainly be renting again. Everything worked perfectly and I had no service issues during my trip with the family to Disneyland. The car was very clean and had no bad smells. Im a bigger guy 6ft 285lbs, and the Model 3 was a bit small for me to get in and out but certainly wasn't a huge issue. Just something to consider for bigger people. You get access to the Tesla lounges locations on I-5 when charging which is convenient because they have restrooms and snacks available as well. The pickup location was a little further that the ad had said, by about 4 miles. Its closer to Felton and slightly more difficult to get to if you are taking a bus or walking to get to the car like I usually do when I book a Turo. I'd recommend Ubering to the pickup location. There is a bus that runs near if you want to bus though. I had to have someone take me to pickup the car which was not what I had originally planned based on the ad. However the host was super accommodating and did let me return the car to the advertised location though, which was so helpful because I needed the bus station next to Nob Hill in Scotts Valley to get home. Also no access to the Tesla App was given this time unfortunately which was a little bit of an annoyance since I use it alot when renting Teslas. It helps me when I forget the key inside "I forget alot" and don't want to go all the back up to our hotel room to get it or want to check the charging status if Im out shopping while charging because I dont want to pay congestion fees at charging stations. But the owner said they might change in the future but wasn't sure when exactly. Again this wasn't a major problem and certainly won't prevent me from renting again. Just something to consider if you are someone who also enjoys App access and its something you are looking for when renting a Tesla. 😃

This Tesla was perfect! The car was spotless and freshly detailed upon pick up. The pickup and drop off location was super convenient, and the host was super communicative and a message away for any questions I had. I highly recommend and will absolutely be a returning customer!

everything was great for the entire week except for the initial pick up Location was given to us at the wrong location. It wasted a couple hours of us walking around and almost taking a taxi to try to find it when it was parked right in front of the airport. Not where the app was telling us to go. Otherwise, the vehicle was fantastic. As agreed-upon, it is parked in the short-term parking of the BC Ferries at Schwartz Bay. Fifth parking stall on the left as you come up the ramp. Also, as agreed, $20 is in the centre console.

Outstanding experience from start to finish. This was an incredible rental experience. The Model X was spotless, fully functional, and absolutely loaded with features. My kids and I were genuinely blown away. This was only my second EV experience and after this trip I can confidently say Tesla is on another level. I previously drove a high-end Cadillac EV SUV and while that was solid, the Tesla is clearly the leader in this space. The Full Self Driving alone is a game changer. This is not the kind of “assist” system that constantly hands control back to you. FSD is intuitive, smooth, and shockingly capable. On this road trip a few states north of here and back, the car handled essentially the entire drive. Once I learned to trust it, I let it do its thing almost the whole way home and it performed flawlessly. On a long trip, that feature is an absolute win. For anyone traveling with kids, this vehicle is money. The rear screen kept them entertained with movies, games, and other features during the slower parts of the drive, which made a massive difference on a long trip. You can also use the huge front screen to watch movies while parked, so when you are charging or taking a break you can throw something on and relax. That combination of comfort, tech, and entertainment makes road trips feel completely different. The navigation system is also worth calling out. It is extremely easy to use, always up to date, and built specifically for road trips. You simply enter your destination, enable FSD, and the car takes care of the rest. It automatically plans charging stops along the way, guides you directly to the superchargers, lines the car up perfectly with the port location, and gets you back on the road. Charging to 80 percent took about 15 minutes each stop, which made the trip far easier than I expected for my first long EV drive. The host was just as impressive as the car. They were friendly, professional, and extremely responsive throughout the trip. We accidentally left important items in the front trunk overnight and reached out. They got back to us early the next morning and made sure everything was secure and ready for pickup. That kind of communication and care goes a long way. Another major plus is the unlimited mileage option. If you are planning any kind of longer drive or road trip, this is the setup you want. It removes stress, adds flexibility, and is very cost effective. Between the vehicle and the host, this was a top-tier experience. I would absolutely rent from them again and highly recommend both the Model X and this host to anyone looking for a premium, stress-free trip.

The car was in excellent condition when I arrived. It was very clean. As a Tesla owner myself, this was a seamless experience. My only caveat is the pickup location. When I was attempting to access the car, I couldn’t due to being in a parking garage. I would advise the owner to give key access at least 5-10 minutes prior to pickup or unlock the vehicle. It took me at least 30 minutes to finally get into the car with calling customer support.

This was an amazing experience. First the check-in and pick up process was flawless. He dropped the car off at the parking garage at the airport and I was able to walk straight to it and drive away. The directions to get to the car were extremely clear. then during the course of my trip we stayed in regular communication and when I had to extend the rental by a day, it was very easy. Then when it came time to charge and drop off the car, my host was very flexible and able to meet me at a Tesla supercharger location next to where I was. I will definitely be renting again every time I am in Chicago. The condition of the car was also excellent. The inside was very clean and looked brand new.

Car worked well and was in good condition. All contact was amiable. I own a Tesla and would have liked to be able to hook my Tesla app to the car, but it was not possible. Us9.f.just the key card is awkward when you are used to using the app. Be aware that if the car is at a high charge at pick up (as I requested), it will take a longer time to charge it up to 100%, so it is better for it to be at a lower charge at the start of your trip, say 80%, so you can spend less time charging before dropoff at the end of your trip to avoid some scheduling stress.
