MBUX, the Mercedes-Benz User Experience system, is fitted with a digital voice assistant that responds to commands, including 20 that are unique to the G Class.
One of the most advanced safety features in the G-Wagon is the Transparent Hood—a virtual display that shows what's directly in front of the vehicle, even if it's out of your line of sight. Whether you're parking in a tight spot or maneuvering through urban spaces, it adds an extra layer of visibility and confidence. The G-Wagon also includes a full suite of safety technologies and driver alerts for added peace of mind.

The rugged power of the Mercedes-Benz G-Class Wagon is nothing to be afraid of. You may never have handled an exotic vehicle like this, but the G Wagon is designed with the driver in mind. With lots of features to keep you safe and a user-friendly driving experience, the G Wagon offers a superb driving experience. Here are some tips to get you started:
G Wagons are large vehicles, which is something you'll need to be aware of when driving. Pay attention to your blind spots, and use the Transparent Hood feature to get a closer view of the road directly ahead of you. Take care while parking or moving through tight spaces. The car's four-wheel drive can help you with tricky manoeuvres, while a range of high-tech features makes handling the G Wagon easier, so your adventure will run smoothly.
The cost of a G Wagon car rental can vary depending on the model variant, booking length, extras, and delivery. For cheap G Wagon rental, look out for potential discounts on longer-duration bookings and early bookings.
It's worth taking some time to familiarize yourself with the G Wagon's impressive cockpit setup, including the voice commands. To start them, simply say, "Hey, Mercedes." Some of the commands you can use in the G Wagon include "Navigate to...," "Open the sunroof," "Switch the driver display to 3D," or "Show me parking at our destination." Of course, you can also use the voice control for comfort, telling it to change the temperature or ambient light colour, switch on the reading lamp, or turn on the automatic massage (if your rental model has this function).

To rent a car on Turo in Canada, you must be 23 or older.
You don’t need personal insurance coverage to book a car on Turo. If you do have your own auto insurance policy, the protection plan you select — purchased from Economical Insurance Company in Alberta, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Ontario, Prince Edward Island and Quebec, and Insurance Corporation of British Columbia (ICBC) in British Columbia — will supplement your existing coverage.*
When booking a car on Turo, you’ll choose between three protection plans — Premier, Standard, or Minimum — to get the level of coverage that’s right for you. With each plan, you’re covered with liability insurance purchased from Economical Insurance Company in Alberta, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Ontario, Prince Edward Island and Quebec, and Insurance Corporation of British Columbia (ICBC) in British Columbia — $2,000,000 for all plans.
On your Account page, make sure you’ve checked the box to receive email notifications, and enable push notifications from the Turo app in your phone settings — we’ll send you occasional promotions, discounts, and deals on car rental.
Yes there is — whether you want to rent a car for three days, three months, or even longer, you can on Turo. You’ll find discounted prices on bookings lasting 3+, 7+, or 30+ days, so you can get the best deals and lowest rates possible by booking longer trips.
Some hosts offer unlimited distance for a trip; others set a daily distance limit — you’ll need to check on each rental car individually to see if this service is provided. On the vehicle pages, you’ll see the total miles or kilometres you’re allowed to drive under the heading “Distance included.” You can find cars offering unlimited mileage with every trip by using the “Unlimited distance” filter.
Yes, multiple guests can drive the car you rent on Turo, as long as they are all approved to drive. The primary driver (whoever rented the car) can add additional drivers with no fees or additional charges. Only the primary driver can request to add drivers; Turo hosts cannot do it for you. We encourage you to request to add additional drivers before your trip starts, though guests can request to add a driver while a trip is in progress.
To speed up the process, have your additional driver create a Turo account and get approved to drive before you request to add them. All drivers must have a valid driver’s license and meet the age requirements for the car you’ve booked. You can request to add drivers via the “Trips” tab in the Turo app without additional driver charges or extra costs.
You can cancel and get a full refund up to 24 hours before your trip starts, unless you opt to receive a non-refundable trip discount when you book. If you book a trip with less than 24 hours’ notice, you have one hour after booking to cancel free of charge. If you cancel after the free cancellation period ends, you will be charged a cancellation fee.
In the rare event a host cancels, you’ll be notified immediately so you can book another car, or we’ll help you find one. Your refund can be temporarily held to expedite rebooking, or the funds can be returned to your bank account — your choice.
