Honda rental in Milton, ON

First, I contemplated leaving a 4 star review for a few reasons. However, the prompt response to the issue with the original vehicle reserved, partly due to luck that someone happened to be onsite with the car, and the flexibility with returning the vehicle without requiring washing and vacuuming is deserving of some grace. The price for 5 day/4 night rental was fantastic, around $150 total. I certainly didn't expect a car in pristine shape for the cost. This car is a part of a Turo "rental company" fleet. It seems like a company that buys cheap, used cars to rent out. There are 12-15 cars parked behind a strip mall 8-10ish minutes from the airport in an area I was glad we were picking up and dropping off midday rather than the evening. The hybrid we originally reserved had stained seats and a lot of cosmetic wear. One tire looked like it was on a spare wheel and didn't have a lot of life left, honestly. A lot of the roads in San Diego aren't exactly in great shape, I was concerned about getting a flat. When we turned the car on to leave we immediately got check engine lights and a "pull over immediately" message. Fortunately, someone with the "rental company" was on site and qas able to quickly switched cars for us. It wasn't a hybrid, though. We didn't plan on a lot of driving, but originally opted for a hybrid to save money since we had two days of freeway driving. We definitely spent more on gas then originally planned. If there wasn't someone available onsite to help, it could have been a much longer ordeal which is a terrible way to start a vacation. Communication day of pick up felt slow with the owner. I didn't think to look back to the 2 month old message about how to find the car. I received a message from Turo saying we'd be sent details the day before the trip. I never got that confirmation text or measage the day before or day of pick up from the actual rental owner. When I first reached out to the rental company through the turo app to find the car at pick up time, I didn't get a response. I finally found a way to text someone about 20 minutes later. We did get a pretty quick response that way, but it's frustrating to be in a random parking lot messaging through an app and not get a response. The Honda interior is definitely cleaner than the hybrid we reserved, but the exterior, not so much. Its been side swiped and has a lot of sun damage. The TPMS light was on the whole time, but the actual tire pressure was fine. There was also a rattle and grinding noise when accelerating from a stop or on a hill, but it didn't cause an issue. The car drives fine for a 14-15 year old car, it's just a little noisy and you feel all the bumps on the road. I understand with the cheaper cost of renting through Turo amd choosing a 12-15 year old car, I'm not getting a newer car like I would with a standard rental company or paying more for a newer car. That said, with my last few Turo rentals, it feels a lot of these Turo "rental companies" aren't checking their cars or doing much more than standard maintenance as frequently as they should when they have over 150,000 miles on them. The confirmation message also suggested the cars are kept in great shape. These cars were not in great shape by any stretch of the imagination. No one wants to be on vacation and have their car break down or even be worried that the car they're driving is gonna get a flat or break down.

Fantastic rental experience! This Honda Odyssey was exactly what we needed for our trip. It comfortably accommodated all five of us with plenty of room for passengers and luggage. The unlimited miles were a huge bonus and gave us the flexibility to explore without worrying about mileage restrictions. The van was clean, reliable, and drove great throughout our entire trip. On top of that, the price was very reasonable and offered excellent value. We would absolutely rent this vehicle again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a spacious and dependable ride!

Charlotte was extremely responsive and kind!Her directions were clear and this car rode like a dream and was PERFECT for my family get-together. It’s got very normal wear and tear, but what do you expect? A perfect car? For the price it’s offered at this is EASILY the most bang for your buck. I appreciate the services she provided and if I need to rent another minivan in the area, I’ll go to hers first!

We had a great experience renting a mini van from Ryan. He was very responsive and clearly answered all of my questions before our trip and had accurate and easy instructions to follow once it was time for our reservation. I was traveling alone with 3 kids and it was still easy to manage the pick up and drop off. The shuttle was located right outside of baggage claim, we only had to wait a couple of minutes for it to come and the drive to the parking lot was probably less than 5 minutes away. Quick and easy and I greatly preferred it to having to wait and deal with a car rental agency. The car was in great shape, clean and had no smell or added scent to it which was appreciated.

Thank You for everything. Extremely great host and responsive to all questions as this was my first experience using Turo for a car rental. Van was clean and full tank when I arrived. To be honest the exterior and interior was better than some of the big car rental locations. I'm definitely looking forward to my next trip in a couple months and will be renting again. Highly recommend.

We had a great experience renting this Honda CR-V. The vehicle was very clean and well maintained when we received it, and it drove incredibly smoothly and comfortably throughout our trip. Everything worked perfectly, and the car offers excellent value for the price. The host was also very punctual, friendly, and easy to communicate with at all times, which made the whole experience even better. I would definitely recommend this vehicle and would gladly rent it again in the future!

Fandi and our cohost provided excellent communication throughout the process. Our car, 2020 Honda Insight was clean and in good working order. Performance was good around the hills and mountains in the greater San Francisco area. The drop off at the San Jose airport was excellent. Why go to the “normal” car rental companies!

A great experience right from the first interaction. The communication was clear and guidance at every step. The 2025 Honda Pilot that I got was in great shape, with the interior spotlessly clean, the car was great, and made me consider buying a Honda Pilot. The return process was smooth too. Overall a great value. I would definitely rent a car from Rahene again.

Very reliable car with great gas mileage, interior features, and overall quality. I had ended up needing to extend the rental twice and both times the host responded within minutes and made it simple and easy to rearrange a drop off time. I recommend this host to all people looking to rent a car and would love to book with them again. Price, communication, and experience 11/10.

Everything was perfect! The car was very clean, well maintained, and exactly as described. Communication with the host was excellent, and the whole rental process was smooth and easy from start to finish. Pickup was very convenient. Walk out of the port. Cross the street ( yes its busy) and the condo complex you see is it! M met us there on time. Drop off was easy as well. Car is a bit old school as it is a 2012, but has all you need and ran just fine. Its a Honda! Price was very good compared to other rentals we did in Hawaii. So great to have a cooler, chairs and beach towels. Suggestion; Would have wanted 3 chairs/ towels as there were 3 of us. Chairs were sitting on sand type which is hard for older ppl to use. If important to you, some places will rent chairs for the day. Does not deter renting the vehicle. Thankyou

Rented a Honda HR-V through Turo and the experience was flawless from start to finish. The car was clean, reliable, and exactly as described—perfect for getting around town comfortably and efficiently. The HR-V handled great, had plenty of space, and got solid gas mileage throughout the trip. The host was outstanding—super friendly, professional, and quick to respond to messages. Pickup and drop-off were hassle-free, and everything was explained clearly. You could tell they cared about making the rental process easy and stress-free. We had family visit us in Cape Coral for few days. They have two small children and we decided to rent a van from Turo. We got great service when needed...they always got back to us with a phone call no matter our questions. We picked up the Honda odyssey van with child seats and added my son in law as a driver. It worked out great and we saved a lot of money Thank you and we would definitely recommend your to our family and friends

There is nothing negative that you can say when it comes to booking with Journeysafe. From the beginning the host was super nice. They accommodated all of my needs, and even had the vehicle ready for me an hour before my trip started and allowed me to pick it up. Communication is key, and they were there to answer any questions that I had, and they do not bother you at all throughout your trip. The vehicle ... first off the mileage they allow is more than the average 200 miles per day and that was a big reason I rented this over any other vehicle. The price, you cannot beat! Espically when you see what this van has to offer! When I got in the vehicle it looked like it just came off the showroom floor inside. For a 2014, they know how to take real good care of their vehicles. I was super amazed on how much technology there was in a 2014. It almost felt like I was driving in a brand new van. This van had so many features that a brand new car does today. The removable 2nd row had me amazed. It was very convenient as I had rented the vehicle in the first place to go pick up my 2 step kids, and I already had my other 2 kids as well. All of us were able to fit in comfortably. The neatest thing to me was the cooler box! I was able to keep my drinks cool for the trip. At the end of my rental, I am set on going to find me one of these vans to buy for myself. (Of you ever decide to sell it ... LOL) Absolutely loved it! Thank you Journeysafe for allowing me to rent your vehicle for my family and I. If anyone ever had a second thought on renting this vehicle, you dont have to. Without hesitation I would more than highly recommend this vehicle over any of the newer vehicles. Do not let the year of 2014 scare you. If you rent this vehicle your not only getting a great deal, but your getting an amazing host as well. I would definitely rent from them again if given the opportunity.

Everything was great! Picking up the car was so easy, and driving the Honda was a blast! Jerod is such a wonderful host, and we’re definitely planning to rent a car with him when we return.

My favorite part was the gas with prices so high now this honda gave great millage not to mention was clean and Josh the host made pick up and dropping off a snap I'd definitely rent this Honda again. Turo is awesome why go anywhere else, this is by far the best and easiest car rental out today.
