We rented the 2018 Ford Escape for two months while visiting Revelstoke and family in the Okanagan region. The car was clean, spacious enough to fit all our winter luggage, and drove well for nearly the entire trip.
Unfortunately, the transmission failed on our final drive back to Vancouver, resulting in a lengthy recovery tow — a frustrating bit of bad luck. That said, we understand that breakdowns can happen, especially with a 2018 vehicle that has seen some mileage.
Thankfully, our hosts at Gloria were quick to respond, communicative, and very helpful in arranging our recovery through Turo.
Despite the unexpected issue at the end, we were happy with the rental overall and would recommend Gloria to other users.
