Clean and well-maintained vehicle, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. There was a small misunderstanding during the booking process, but we were able to resolve it quickly and find a fair compromise.
The listing included a child car seat as an option without an additional charge, but the host mentioned that it was a paid add-on and had it listed as such in the Turo app. However, this information wasn’t visible on my end as a guest it may have been a glitch in the app. I’d recommend confirming this detail in advance when booking.
Overall, a good experience I would recommend!

The owner was polite and helpful. The car drove smoothly and we made it all in one piece. However, there were several issues:
- plate number is wrong between the app and the actual car.
- owner listed vehicle as having snow tires (which was necessary for our trip) and arrived without them. Fortunately, I happened to make small talk with the owner and told him we were going to Tremblant, so he went back and put the snow tires back on. This was luck by chance, and this error delayed the arrival of the vehicle to the drop-off point. The owner’s photographs of the car show the all season tires (prior to changing them) and a greater amount of gas than was actually in the car upon its delivery to me. His photos say approximately 394km of gas upon drop-off to me, when in fact, it was actually approximately 356km. If a rule requires a refuel, then I abided by it, as upon completion of my trip, gas was at 384km. Conversely, this snow tires issue also meant that by the time the car was actually delivered and ready for my
use, there were more kilometres than the owner’s photos. If a rule requires a refuel, then I abided by it, as upon completion of my trip, gas was at 384km. As well, if a rule indicates that the car has a km limit of 2,100 before the owner charges per km, then this is important to be accurate about to prevent disputes later.
- by far, the biggest issue is that the car was dropped off to us with very low washer fluid, which meant that we ran out of washer fluid on the highway and this was scary.
Overall, these are things that can be fixed and planned for in advance and the driver was a great communicator.
