The car was comfortable, matched the listing, and served our needs well during the trip. The only downside was the communication with the host.
Shortly after booking, we received several messages outlining rules and instructions, constantly emphasizing the renter's responsibilities, yet when we submitted the requested documents, we received no confirmation that everything was in order. In fact, the day before the trip, the app still showed pending items, so I had to reach out to verify that everything was actually set.
We also needed to change the vehicle pickup time, and that request was approved without issue. However, when we arrived to pick up the car, we received only the location, with no information on where the key was. It started raining while my husband and I searched around the vehicle, and we only managed to find the key by chance. The host’s message explaining the key's location arrived only after we had already found it, which made the moment unnecessarily stressful.
Overall, the car met our expectations, but we believe clearer and more complete communication would have made for a much smoother experience.
