I’m giving this host two stars because he falsely claimed the car was returned with an empty tank to charge me for a full tank of gas, even though it had half a tank. This was dishonest and made the experience very disappointing.

We aim for complete transparency. The BMW X3 has a 67L tank. The vehicle was returned with the fuel gauge below the 1/2 mark (60% empty). Per Turo policy, we refilled only the actual missing fuel (39.35L) and uploaded the gas receipt. The additional $10 is a standard processing fee collected automatically by Turo for fuel reimbursements, not an overcharge by the host. We reached out privately to clarify the vehicle's math, but received no response.
