My trip started with a pickup location change when I was on route to the original address. Upon arrival I was immediately shocked that there's a giant white scrape all down the passenger side. Upon further inspection inside the car it was dirty. The host said ya sorry I didn't have time to clean it before you got here (I'm pretty sure he forgot he had a rental).
Then I started the car, and said there's only half a tank of gas (host said ya sorry just bring it back with half).
The check engine light is on (host said ya I took it to the dealership and it's just a sensor) ok show me the receipt you took it to the dealer. (Host said it was a month ago I don't have the receipt anymore)
Then there was a a triangle dash indicator on (host said that's the bumper sensor) also taken to the dealership and it's all fine ;)
A third warning indicator was on I don't know what it was.
Then during my trip the tire pressure sensor came on.
So I was on edge with all these indicators on wondering if I was going to make it to my business meetings and then back again, not a fun time or great experience at all.
Before I left to start the trip, the host said he would give me the max discount but have not seen anything and I asked him about it after I returned the car via messaging as he was sleeping when I returned the car at 4pm. I wouldn't rent from this host again.
