The car was reliable, and our trip went smoothly. Great communication with the host, and the pickup and drop-off instructions were clear and easy to follow. Overall, a great experience!

I hired Cameron’s car for a 24-day long trip/adventure that would take me to Newfoundland and Labrador and Nova Scotia.
First the positives; the car was a really comfortable, solid and reliable drive throughout the journey. The pick-up and drop-off were straightforward and Cameron was pretty good on the comms.
However, there were some issues. The screen wash was empty and needed refilling straightaway and very early on, it was evident that one of the tires had a slow puncture (which could have just been bad luck); but it did take 2 separate visits to a garage to resolve the issue. Cameron offered to reimburse me for the costs but this is now day 6 after completion of the trip and I’m still awaiting payment. In addition, the rear screen wiper was fairly ineffective and after the second week of travelling, I was regularly prompted on the dashboard that the car required a maintenance check as soon as possible.
In short and importantly, it didn’t stop me from enjoying the trip as a whole but I would have preferred to have been less distracted by car-related issues.

Thanks for your feedback. We aim to provide well maintained, clean vehicles, and thoroughly check over all cars before they go out. I apologize for the windshield fluid, as that was overlooked. The tires were all at the correct pressure with no sign of puncture or leak at the start of the trip. We cannot control road hazards. The “maintenance required” pop up is an automated mileage based reminder which is unavoidable during your 5500 km of driving. Any expenses have been reimbursed as promised.
Our first time using the app, 10/10 renter. Great communication.
