The car was great, perfect to drive for our 6 day trip. Hosts answered questions very quickly and made pick up and drop off very simple. Would recommend this car and host.

Since the car is new, there were no issues at all while driving. It was a pretty smooth ride. Host was also very responsive. However, when I picked the car, it wasn’t very clean and had a distinctive bad smell. I had to buy a freshener to make it go away. For the first few hours, I ended up driving all windows down, just to make the smell go away.

The “bad smell” you mentioned was most likely coming from the hanging air freshener. This vehicle is very new and had less than 7,000 kilometers on it before your trip. None of the previous customers have ever complained about any odor in the vehicle, which is why I was quite surprised by your comment.
Given the vehicle’s condition and history, I do not believe there was any underlying odor issue with the car itself.
Communication is very clear and car is very good condition.
