The host was very receptive to messages and easy to deal with. However the car was very dirty inside and out, the key fob was finicky, there was rattling in the car and the brakes were squealing. We had a great trip but I was worried the whole time that it wasn’t going to get us to our next destination.

Car was extremely dirty on the outside & the inside. My children had to sit on food stains & God knows what else in the back seat. It smelt so bad we stopped to buy air fresheners to spray. The charging ports did not work so it was difficult to maintain cell phone battery for navigation purposes for the long trip to Sydney Mines to bury my Nanna. Dents on the back bumper. There's like 10 cohosts on this car but yet absolutely no one can reply to any of my messages. Definitely not worth the money we spent on this. We absolutely better not get upcharged any more money for this rental than we already paid for other people's messes, dents or mileage. Not a great first impression of Turo. Not sure we will use Turo again after this if I'm paying just as much as a rental company for an unreliable, dirty, smelly car.

The pickup location was convenient, however they changed my car while I was mid-flight on the way to my destination, and when we picked up the vehicle at the airport parkade, we immediately had to pay $30 for parking as the vehicle had been there since 2pm (even though the agreed upon pick up time was 9:30pm)

The vehicle wasn’t clean, had past passengers garbage in the seat pockets, and bug guts all over the windows, and the car is loud when running. This was my first experience using Turo so I’m not sure if this is typical, but based on this experience I will not be using the service again in the future, the cost savings compared to a regular rental was not enough for the experience of a dirty, old, clunky car.

Giving it two stars because it got us around, which is the ultimate goal of a vehicle, but it was in no way worth the cost, even at the economic price it was.
