Absolutely horrendous experience with Epic Cars! Hired the vehicle and while sitting at the border to cross into America we found what can only be described as a very dangerous weapon which was an extremely large Chinese butcher knife situated within the compartment in the drivers door pocket compartment. After contacting the hosts with how serious this matter was all we got was an apology which quite frankly doesn’t cut it. The consequences could have been shocking for us all. We are from the UK and this results in getting charged and thrown into jail! They also falsified a chip in the windscreen along with charging a lot extra because the fuel gauge was only slightly down one bar from when we picked it up. I would not recommend using this company. Unfortunately it doesn’t let me upload a photo of the knife’s size for all to see.
