Buffalo’s unique architecture and hip waterfront culture make it a fun place to visit any time of year.
Visit Frank Lloyd Wright’s “domestic symphony.” Built in 1903-1905 for Buffalo executive Darwin D. Martin, the Martin House is a quintessential prairie style home. Art glass, natural colors, and open spaces create an elegant yet comfortable atmosphere, making this house a lived-in work of art.
Located at the western terminus of the Erie Canal, Canalside is the hub of Buffalo’s waterfront downtown. Home to restaurants, shops, concerts, festivals, and more, it’s the perfect place to let loose and have fun.
Created in the late 19th century, this 155-acre park is home to a Victorian-style glass and steel building inspired by London’s famous Crystal Palace. Enjoy native and non-native plants in the palm dome, fern house, and orchid house, and don’t miss the indoor waterfall.

Yes, there are hundreds of cars available on Turo at locations near the Buffalo airport. After arriving at Buffalo Niagara International Airport, Niagara Falls International Airport, or Greater Rochester International Airport, skip the rental counter and have your car for pick-up and dropoff at your Buffalo hotel or the address of your vacation rental to save time and hassle. Many of the major hotels offer shuttle service to and from the airport.
There is no fee or additional charge for adding a driver to your trip on Turo. Only the guest who booked the trip (primary driver) can request to add drivers; Turo hosts cannot do it for you. We encourage you to request to add authorized drivers before your trip starts, though guests in the US and Canada can request to add a driver while a trip is in progress with no extra charges.
To speed up the process, have your additional driver create a Turo account and get approved to drive before you request to add them. All drivers must have a valid driver’s license and meet the age requirements for the car you’ve booked. You can request to add drivers via the “Trips” tab in the Turo app without additional driver charges or extra costs.
Street parking can get tricky around Buffalo’s popular sites, but the good news is that parking lots are free in the downtown district on weekends and after 5 pm on weekdays. At other times, metered parking rates are $1 per hour. Buffalo also offers plenty of off-street parking in public and private lots and ramps.
* Liability insurance is provided under a policy issued to Turo by a third party. Terms, conditions, and exclusions apply. The policy does not provide coverage for damage to a host’s vehicle. For questions about how damage to a host’s vehicle is handled, visit the Turo Support site.
