Upon pick up, the car was very dirty. There was dust, hair, sand, wood chips, and hiking debris. It’s clear that the previous driver went on a hike of some sort, and the car was never cleaned or appropriately turned over prior to my pick up. Furthermore, when I contacted the host to get some support, they said they were 30 minutes away and did not appear to be willing to come and help. Honestly, I don’t know if this was a one-off, but what a bad experience.

This review is false and misleading. The guest booked the car over three months in advance and asked me to cancel a few hours before the trip. I explained that I couldn’t cancel his non-refundable booking or provide a full refund, and there was nothing I could do about it from my side. He left this review even though he never picked up or used the car. The car was clean and ready. I have completed over 800 trips on Turo and always ensure my cars are clean and ready.
