This rental experience significantly disrupted my trip and cost me two full days of my vacation. I had to deal with multiple Uber rides, additional expenses, and repeated trips back and forth to the shop-all for a car I was only able to use for a few hours.
I booked the vehicle for 5 days and picked it up as scheduled, but within just a few hours, I discovered that one of the headlights was not working. I contacted the host immediately and received no response. Since driving with a non-functioning headlight is both unsafe and illegal, I had no choice but to interrupt my plans and return the vehicle myself.
At AutoFlow, I waited while the car was inspected, only to be told that the wiring was damaged and the entire headlight needed to be replaced—similar to a recent repair done on the other side. The repair would take approximately three days, making the car unusable for the majority of my booking.
I was instructed to return the car to my accommodation, remove my child’s car seat, and refill the tank with premium gas before receiving a full refund. This added even more inconvenience and wasted time.
While the AutoFlow staff were courteous, the vehicle should never have been rented out in this condition. Combined with the lack of communication from the host and no suitable replacement offered, this was a very frustrating and disappointing experience.
