The car was a bit smelly with the excess air fresheners, and pick up instructions were a bit delayed. Otherwise the car did the job and worked well.

We had a safety issue with this car. It did not lead to an accident but it could have. This is why we are giving only 3 stars.
On the second day of our rental, we noticed that the brake line leading to one of the rear wheels was hanging loose, only about 4 inches (10 cm) above the ground. This created an obvious safety risk: if the line had struck road debris at highway speed, it could have been torn, resulting in a loss of braking performance.
Upon inspection, it was clear that this was not a new problem. The brake line had been repaired previously, but instead of being secured with the proper mounting hardware, it had been held in place with a simple plastic cable tie. Over time, the plastic had deteriorated and failed, allowing the brake line to hang down.
Using a makeshift repair to secure a critical component is not a good idea. Discovering this raises concerns about what other temporary or improper repairs might have been made elsewhere on the vehicle.
Otherwise, it was a well-organized rental experience.
