The host was at the airport, which is why he didn’t have the keys—they had been left with the co-host. He asked me to go upstairs and knock on the co-host’s apartment door. I first made 23 calls, but the co-host didn’t answer the phone, so I had to go up and knock. After another 10 minutes of waiting, he finally appeared.
The car had a strange smell—a mix of body odor and marijuana.
The vehicle otherwise drives as expected, but the front headlights are aimed too high (though still lower than the high beams, which point even higher). There is also a strange oily film or residue on the inside of the windshield, which makes driving at night almost impossible.
Additionally, a warning light on the dashboard indicated low tire pressure. I inflated the tires to the recommended pressure shown on the vehicle and drove several kilometers on the highway, but the yellow tire pressure warning light did not go away. I checked the pressure again, and the light remained on while an alarm kept sounding.
When I mentioned these issues to the co-host (who was otherwise friendly and helpful throughout), he seemed to downplay them and didn’t give them much importance.

Hi Juan, thank you for the feedback. This was a last-minute booking (about 1–1.5 hours before pickup on a Sunday morning) while I was already heading to the airport, so keys were with the co-host who was asleep—apologies for the delay. The tire pressure light stays on due to winter tires without TPMS sensors (not an issue and mentioned in the listing). Windshield fogging can occur if defog/air circulation isn’t set properly. The car has been checked and no odor was found.
No problem either with the car or communication !

This is the second time I have rented with Akshay. I provided feedback after the first time on car’s issues and Akshay promptly fixed all the issues and I got a better experience on my second time.
