I was to a large extent satisfied with the rental, but there was one critical issue: the host tried to bill us with parking fees upon checking in. We were at the airport and thought this could be on us, but after reviewing Turo's clear policies about parking fees (must be explained to the renter up front) the host still refused to pay. This host has hundreds of trips on the platform and from the airport, this means he was most likely aware and nevertheless tried to scam a small fee. Besides during self check-in he wasn't responsive (2+ hours), didn't reply to our messages ahead of the rental, insufficient communication throughout the rental. The car had a defective tire pressure sensor from the start, I would have appreciated that the host told me. The clutch pedal squeaks terribly. Other than that a mini Cooper is always a great drive.

Host started by arriving more than 39min late. Car smelled so bad and rooftop was broken. Would not recommend. Host also tried to charge for gas when the car was not completely full when he gave it to me...

Hello Alex,
The gas wad full as you see in the check in photos, the charge was valid. I explained you that the roof is now closed and you were comprehensive about it. For the smell, we did not smell anything as previous guest did not complain about it on top of that it came out from the car wash.
