Car quality was not good. Tire pressure was 16 psi below spec making the car difficult to control and dangerous. Steering wheel shake was quite bad at high speed and still present after we aired up the tires. Shocks were worn enough that we bottomed out on numerous bumps. Basically the car was not safe and needed a complete mechanical check to fix these issues.
Communication with the renter was good at the beginning of the trip. However there was no response to our concerns midway through the trip. Just automated responses even though we messaged them. Pickup/drop off at Halifax was good
In summary, the persons responsible for this rental need to fix the mechanical issues and respond to messages during the trip.

Everything went well, though the fuel wasn't at a full tank when I picked it up so I ended up with more in returning it than what it was at to start. Also paying the parkade fee when picking it up was fairly steep. The car handles well and the android auto was a nice bonus that wasn't in the ad.

I appreciated having a car available for my trip; however, the overall experience was disappointing given the price I paid. The vehicle was advertised as a 2024 model, yet it did not run smoothly and appeared not to have been properly serviced. There was little to no windshield wiper fluid, the brakes felt shaky, and the winter tires performed poorly. Surprisingly, there was also no snow brush provided, despite it being peak winter season.
On top of that, I was charged an additional $28 for hourly airport parking, which felt unreasonable and inconsiderate, especially considering potential delays when picking up a vehicle at an airport. Overall, the experience did not meet expectations, and I would hesitate to rent again.
