Car was pretty dinged up and had weird sounds when you’d turn but overall drove fine.

The pickup went smoothly and the host provided lots of details about where the car would be and how to access it.
The check engine light and low tire pressure lights were lit up on the dashboard when I started the car but the host assured me the car was serviced yesterday and the lights were malfunctioning. There was also a low tire pressure warning for all tires which I asked the host about and again, they assured me it was fine and the sensor for the snow tires was not working.
I had issues with the lane assist pulling the car in the snow and I asked the host how to turn it off and they didn’t know and suggested YouTubing it.
One of the tires exploded and disintegrated while I was driving, there was thankfully a spare in the trunk. I informed the host about the tire and they didn’t answer to check if I was okay, apologize, or provide any support. I then discovered that only the front two tires were snow tires and the back were all seasons, when I asked the host about this they said the back tires were “essentially snow tires” and “basically what everyone considers snow tires”.
I returned the car on time to the row and lot I picked it up from before completing the trip in the app and the host charged me a 37 minute ($59) late fee.
I would not rent with this company again. Although they communicated well when things were going right, they did not when I had major issues with the car.
