The car itself wasn't good for longer trips gas consumption much more than stated in advertisement! The check-in experience was unacceptable. The registered host did not show up. Instead, an unauthorized third party arrived, who was verbally aggressive and demanded to check my driver's license on a non-Turo website (SAAQ), threatening to cancel the trip. Unprofessional and a violation of Turo's rules. Turo Support has been notified.

Ridiculous comments. Compare with every other renter. It is the law in Quebec that the owner of a vehicule needs to verify the drivers license with the SAAQ before renting or lending a vehicule. In person the guests english was too poor to understand. He did not properly upload his drivers license nor selfie properly to the Turo site and was told before he came that his license would need to be verified in person. We offered to cancel the trip since he did not want to display his license to us.
My entire experience was amazing. They are also very kind and considerate. The car also drives well for its age. I would definitely recommend them for affordability and reliability.
