Great and friendly host. He knew we rented the car for a long trip so he made sure the car got a check-up beforehand. Car drove smooth without any issues! About 9L/100km outside the city on the highways and around 11L/100km if you have to stop a lot. Overall a great car, would definitely recommend!

Terrible experience and irresponsible host. Tire too old without maintenance and we got flat tire on highway. When we drove the car to repair shop (Garage P Bedard Inc in Quebec, welcome to call the shop to confirm this case; Date: July 9, 2025), the technician told us that no nail was found on the tire and the damaged flat tire was due to long term deterioration (not our fault!!!). A new tire is needed in order to drive the car back to Markham. We paid CAD 177 for the new tire. The host refused to pay us back the money but he took our new tire. We contacted Turo also and Turo said that the insurance we bought not covered this cost and we needed to negotiate with the host. The damaged tire ruined our trip, both Turo and the host are irresponsible. Not suggest to rent this car because (1) brake shaking seriously, (2) poor alignment always turns to right, (3) now with OUR only NEW tire on the right rear location makes the vehicle unsafe to drive in poor weather (be careful!). Very bad experience from Turo and this host. We are the victims for this incident.
I am sorry to hear about your experience, but I want to clarify that the car was thoroughly inspected and in perfect condition when I handed it over to you. Unfortunately, tire damage is classified as a road hazard and is not covered under Turo’s insurance policy, which is why Turo did not reimburse the cost of the replacement tire. As a host, I must follow Turo’s guidelines and policies when handling such situations. While I understand your frustration, the vehicle had no prior issues reported.

The vehicle is clean inside out. Though there’s a little rust and patches of rust it is in good condition overall.
