Our family was put in a very dangerous situation. We reported a front-end noise shortly after receiving the van. The host took the vehicle for inspection and returned it to us, stating it was safe to drive. The noise continued, and the next day a wheel came off while we were driving on a secondary paved highway with our four children ranging from 1 year to 9 in the vehicle. We were fortunate to keep the van on the road and avoid serious injuries.
This incident ended our vacation, left us without transportation on the side of the road and for the remained of our trip. This caused significant stress and safety concerns. We believe renters should be aware of our experience when deciding whether to book this vehicle and trust the host/mechanic maintaining the safety of richard and Andrea’s fleet of rentals.
