I strongly do not recommend this vehicle or this host.
The car had a serious stability issue. Every time I accelerated, it felt unstable, which made me feel unsafe throughout the trip. In my opinion, a vehicle with this kind of issue should not be listed for rent until it has been properly repaired.
The air conditioning was also disappointing. It did not cool the entire cabin properly, making the ride uncomfortable, especially in warm weather.
The worst part was the host’s behavior. I returned the vehicle with approximately three-quarters of a tank of fuel, exactly as requested. Despite that, I was still charged an additional $52 for fuel. I believe this charge was completely unfair and made me feel taken advantage of.
Because of the safety concerns, the poor condition of the vehicle, and what I consider an unjustified extra charge, this was one of the worst rental experiences I’ve had. I would strongly advise anyone to avoid renting this vehicle.

Thank you for your feedback. A new transmission was installed, and the van drove 1,200+ km post-repair before your trip — I stand fully behind its condition. A/C works fine; it’s our family vehicle. The $52 fuel charge reflects fuel returned below the agreed level, with receipt/proof provided, not some arbitrary fee. You also returned the van an hour late without notice, delaying the next guest — I didn’t even charge a late fee, only asked to be reimbursed for fuel. Fairness matters to me.
The car stopped working on the very first day of trip and when we were away from the city. Had to face lot of issues calling turo and getting the car towed for almost 2 hours. The trip with younger kid did make the situation even worse.The host was helpful and considerate.
