My first time renting on Turo and it could not have gone smoother. Connor was a great help and answered all my questions, I was confident I was going to have a pleasant first experience thanks to Connor

First, we had one of the worst experiences in our life with Host.
This Vehicle was previously used as commercial vehicle, then later converted to rental vehicle.
It had several mechanical issues previously like passenger door was not locking and it undergone repairs but not informed while collecting the vehicle.
As soon as we started our trip within three hours, viper blades came off suddenly and flew away while diving in rainy conditions. We had informed the Host the very moment it happened and taken pictures of the same, we had to delay our trips for few hours, got new vipers from the nearby gas station, but that was a temporary fix as they were not working properly. Have the receipt for the same also phone call evidence of the same.
Lock mechanism didn’t lock the passenger side door. Someone had to stay inside the vehicle all the time, all throughout the trip for 5 days. When informed the Host, he informed it had already gone repairs previously, he agreed to compensate (refund) for the same. That was a false promise.
Inside board for the sliding door came off, picture taken and forwarded to the host.
Sliding door was not closing off at times; someone had to keep holding this door in running condition, also took pictures of the same and forwarded to the Host.
As the vehicle was used as cargo vehicle, and not meant for passenger transport, it was making too much noise in the running condition.
With regular temperature settings in the car, heating vent in the second-row seat was blowing very hot air causing the seat to get hot, so passengers in the seat had heatstroke and headaches.
There were gaps around the back sliding door causing wind to blow in and make noise and windy for passengers all throughout the trip.
Thanks for your consideration of the troubles we faced with your vehicle, due to the occurrence of issues listed above, we continuously kept facing issues during our journey and faced delays.
Hence, we would like you to refund the money we paid to TURO

He was a very awesome host. The car was clean and comfortable.

Host - Connor provided excellent service. Friendly service at pick up. Clear instructions-he even lent us his USB chargers. He was responsive and easy to talk to. We took a long trip so it was great to have him on call when we needed to ask him anything.
Pick up location - was easy
enough to figure out. Close to gas stations which was convenient when refuelling.
Car quality - was not the greatest. It was switched after booking (with consent). But it was spacious and it took us to our destination and back home safely.
