Ford Expedition

Full-sized SUV, full-sized power

Drive an Expedition

A Ford Expedition rental seats up to eight and packs more than 100 cubic feet of cargo room, so the whole family — and everything they're bringing — fits with room to spare. Make a Ford Expedition your premium SUV rental for camping and beach trips. Opt to rent a Ford Expedition EL with a longer wheelbase for space to rival even the GMC Yukon XL and Chevy Suburban.

Ford doesn't sacrifice power in this full-size SUV rental, either, combining plenty of room with a 3.5-liter V-6 that can put out a hefty 400 horsepower. Heavier loads are no problem with an engine upgrade for 440 horsepower, along with the standard independent rear suspension. Rent a Ford Expedition on Turo for a premium SUV rental experience.

Independent rear suspension for softer drives

Whether you're cruising to a national park or tracing Route 66 on a cross-country road trip, the Ford Expedition keeps the ride smooth. Its independent rear suspension lets each rear wheel move on its own for steady road contact, so every passenger rides in calm, cushioned comfort — mile after mile.

Flexibility is the name of the game

Need room to bring home a new TV or pack away an extra-large tent for your weekend camping ritual? The Ford Expedition has you covered with a power-folding third row for plenty of room in this full-size SUV. The center console joins in on the action with a sliding function. Keep it forward for added storage, or push it back to give the second row easy access. An EL rental features even more space with the extra-long drivetrain.

Panoramic infotainment display

Twenty-four inches of panoramic screen real estate lets you configure this large SUV rental to keep the most important info at eye level. Keep an eye on your speed, get directions to your next destination, or double-check what tunes are going; it's all there with a quick glance, letting you keep your focus on the road ahead.

Excursions are more fun with an Expedition

A Ford Expedition rental offers a generous amount of seating and storage, perfect for road trips and family vacations. Keep it close to home, take the fam tailgating for your favorite team, or enjoy the serenity of nature. Among Ford rentals on Turo, the Expedition is the full-size SUV that does it all.

Multi-function Ford split gate

An Expedition SUV rental offers you the cabin space of a Chevy Suburban rental with the convenience of a pickup truck's bed in the multi-function Ford split gate. Open the powered top gate and toss in a tote and a cooler packed with snacks for the big game. Power open the lower gate for larger items like home decor or sporting goods. It's the best of both worlds, ready for your next expedition.

Cargo tailgate manager

Tailgating is a classic American pastime for a reason, and Ford knows it's a favorite of families and friends alike. That's why they've made it even better with a versatile tailgate manager available for your SUV rental. Set up a hot dog condiment station in shelf mode, enjoy pregame or post-hike meals in table mode, or get some support with backrest mode.

360-degree zone lighting

Forget finding places to hang old camping lanterns or searching for the brightest streetlight possible. Instead, enjoy after-dark adventures with the Ford Expedition's 360-degree zone lighting vehicle feature. Select Expedition models illuminate your surroundings from the headlamps, grille, and roof rails to the liftgate and spoiler. Car group expeditions never have to end just because the sun goes down.

Top tips and things to know before renting a Expedition

What to know before driving an Expedition

Ford's premium SUV offers more cargo space than most vehicles in its class, but there's more to it than that. Before making an Expedition your next SUV rental, consider these tips.

Ford Expedition driving tips

Expedition models from 2021 on offer Ford BlueCruise, hands-free driver assistance for prequalified highway stretches. A driver-facing camera keeps your eyes on the road while BlueCruise helps manage speed, following distance, and lane centering.

The sliding center console doesn't just give you storage — it can help keep your goods secure, too. Going to a concert with a strict bag policy or a classified movie screening? Slide the console of your Expedition rental back to reveal storage for your valuables, and then, push it forward so that nobody's the wiser.

Stay online with the Ford Connectivity Package. Add it to your large SUV rental for built-in Wi-Fi to keep up to 10 devices connected, along with streaming options like MAX and Peacock to keep passengers entertained.

How much does it cost to rent a Ford Expedition?

The cost of a Ford Expedition rental depends on the model variant, trip length, Extras, and delivery. Longer trips bring the price down — most listings offer duration discounts on trips of three days, one week, two weeks, three weeks, and a month or more, which makes a long-term car rental a smart move for extended stays. Book four or more days ahead and you can also choose a non-refundable trip for 10% off.

Turo accepts valid licenses (not expired, suspended, or revoked) that allow for full driving privileges; this includes driver’s licenses issued outside of the US. The policy does not provide coverage for damage to a host’s vehicle.
