The Host had excellent communication skills, however the vehicle check engine light was on from the moment I got the vehicle, the first day the vehicle was fine, second day the check engine light started flashing along with the oil change light. The vehicle then stalled on the highway, I was scared for my life, it began moving again but won’t allow me to accelerate. Contact the host, again he was great at communicating, he picked up the vehicle and returned it to me about two hours later stating the problem was resolved. I resumed driving the vehicle no check engine light was on this time, as I hit the highway in the heart of evening traffic, the car stalled again, I contacted the host again. This is around 6:30pm. The only solution was to cut the trip short and return the vehicle, unfortunately the host cannot pick up the vehicle until after 10pm and I cannot book another vehicle until this current trip ends. Now I’m left without any means of transportation. The host apologized for the inconvenience but worst vehicular experience of my life.
Thank you for your feedback. I apologize for the oil change reminder, which was my oversight. I completed the oil change at your convenience and returned the vehicle to your requested location. The check engine light was a minor O2 sensor code that does not affect drivability and was disclosed in advance. The vehicle passed a full safety inspection. I also arranged a late-night pickup at no charge, and the vehicle was returned with an empty fuel tank.
