Car quality was great, very clean. The host was not great and really diminished my overall experience. They locked the keys to the rental inside the car which resulted in my pick up being 45 mins delayed. Mistakes happen and I appreciate they moved as quick as they could on trying to rectify the error but the demeanor and attitude that accompanied it was unsettling and not suited for client service. The host arrived 45 mins later than my pick up time chatting on the phone with someone else and did not look at or acknowledge me until he ended his call. He was not at all apologetic, came off defensive and appeared annoyed that I was annoyed. This was my first time renting with Turo and I don't think I could return when options like Enterprise exist with consistently better client service and overall experience.

We have had a last minute heckup with car getting locked up with keys in it. We did act quick and upgraded you to a better car at no extra cost and offered you 3 hours of free extension at the end of your trip, resolving this took 45 minutes unfortunately. This is an unfortunate situation and we have done everything to make it right for you, But you asked for “discount” and showed no understanding on top of a very rude and entitled attitude. Unfortunately we will not host you again.
Vehicle was just as described clean, and easy to locate. Good communication.
