I want to start by saying that the host was a very kind and respectful person. Communication was smooth, and he was very helpful throughout the process. However, I must mention that the car did not function properly at all. Right after I left, within a couple of minutes, the car hesitated, lacked power, and made a knocking sound. It struggled to shift gears and never had enough power, especially when going uphill. It was clear that these mechanical issues were pre-existing, and he should have disclosed them beforehand. This put our safety at risk, and unfortunately, I cannot recommend this car for future rentals.

Based on what you’ve said the vehicle was in perfect running condition up until you picked it up as it came back from a trip just hours before you booked it and the guest who had it previously had no issues with it. And pointing out that my communication was good I was surprised that you didn’t get back to me about the condition and if safety risk was involved you shouldn’t have driven the vehicle to start with.
