The car was in really good shape !! This jeep is so great 👍🏼 host is very kind, helpful and answer fast. recommend 10/10

Super ! Giovanni et son équipe sont extrêmement disponibles, la voiture était top ! Je recommande
Overall the experience was great! Josue was always very responsive and even generously offered me a ride to the airport. The car is perfectly maintained and a real pleasure to drive. I highly recommend both the car and Josue!
Very nice car, reliable, nice contact with the host. just a tiny problem with the pressure of the front left tire, depressurizes quickly compared to the other ones, but it's okay it has never been a problem. Also careful with the size of the luggage! I should have been more careful, because the size of the trunk is pretty small if you have big luggages. But again, it was my job to expect that :)

Amazing. Hosts and car. Super quick to respond to anything pick up instructions were clear and timely. Car has a lot of torque 297lbs of torque to be exact. Easy pick up to move when needed. Rides were smooth. Convertible open was great for the ride through the mountains as well. Cheap for the car you get! Well worth it.
Such a great guy to have interactions with. I had a great time m.

Nous avons passé de superbes vacances grâce à Alex et Cynthia. La voiture était parfaite, propre, bien entretenue, et confortable. Les hôtes sont adorables et réactif en cas de soucis, je recommande pour un voyage en toute confiance !
Montreal offers incredible diversity for visitors arriving at Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport, from the cobblestone charm of Old Montreal to the panoramic views atop Mount Royal. You can explore the vibrant Plateau Mont-Royal neighbourhood, discover the underground city downtown, or venture to the picturesque Lachine Canal. A rental convertible transforms these journeys into memorable experiences, allowing you to fully appreciate Montreal's architectural beauty and seasonal splendour while navigating the city's well-maintained roads with style and comfort.
Old Montreal captivates visitors with its 17th-century architecture, charming boutiques, and stunning views of the St. Lawrence River. The area features narrow cobblestone streets perfect for leisurely exploration, with highlights including the magnificent Notre-Dame Basilica and the bustling Old Port. Parking is available in several lots throughout the district, though spaces fill quickly during peak tourist seasons. The scenic drive along the waterfront offers beautiful river vistas, making it an ideal route for enjoying Montreal's historic quarter in your rental convertible.
Mount Royal Park provides Montreal's most spectacular viewpoint, offering sweeping panoramas of the entire city skyline and the St. Lawrence River beyond. The park features well-maintained roads that wind through beautiful forested areas, leading to the famous Kondiaronk Belvedere lookout. Ample parking is available near the chalet, and the drive up the mountain showcases Montreal's natural beauty throughout all seasons, from vibrant autumn foliage to pristine winter landscapes.
The Plateau Mont-Royal district enchants visitors with its iconic outdoor staircases, vibrant street art, and eclectic mix of cafés and boutiques. This trendy neighbourhood showcases Montreal's artistic spirit through countless murals adorning building walls and its distinctive architecture featuring colourful row houses. Street parking is generally available, though you'll want to check local signage carefully. The area's grid layout makes navigation straightforward, and driving through these culturally rich streets provides an authentic taste of Montreal's bohemian character and creative energy.
The Lachine Canal offers a peaceful escape from urban hustle, featuring beautiful waterside paths and historic locks that tell Montreal's industrial story. This scenic waterway connects the Old Port to Lachine, providing opportunities for leisurely drives along parallel roads with frequent canal views. Several parking areas allow easy access to walking paths and recreational facilities. The route showcases Montreal's transformation from industrial hub to modern recreational destination, with charming bridges and restored heritage buildings creating picturesque driving scenery.
Jean-Talon Market stands as one of North America's largest public markets, bursting with fresh Quebec produce, artisanal goods, and international specialties. Located in the vibrant Little Italy district, this bustling marketplace offers authentic Montreal flavours and seasonal delicacies from local farmers and producers. The market provides convenient parking facilities, and the surrounding neighbourhood features beautiful tree-lined streets perfect for exploring. Driving through this area reveals Montreal's multicultural character, with Italian cafés, Portuguese bakeries, and French patisseries creating a delightful culinary landscape throughout the district.

From Montreal - Pierre Elliot Trudeau International Airport, take Autoroute 20 East toward Montreal, then merge onto Autoroute 720 East which leads directly into downtown Montreal. The route passes through Lachine and offers clear signage for the city centre. Having a rental car provides flexibility to explore Montreal's diverse neighbourhoods and Quebec's scenic regions at your own pace.
In Quebec, you must drive on the right side of the road and stop signs read "ARRÊT" in French. Speed limits are posted in kilometres per hour, and right turns on red lights are prohibited on the island of Montreal. Your rental car should have winter tires between December 15 and March 15 as required by Quebec law.
No toll roads exist near Montreal - Pierre Elliot Trudeau International Airport or throughout Quebec province. All major highways including Autoroute 20, 40, and 720 that connect the airport to Montreal and surrounding areas are free to use. This makes exploring Montreal, Dorval, and other Quebec destinations more economical with your rental car.
Several gas stations operate along Autoroute 20 and Boulevard Côte-Vertu near the airport, including major chains like Petro-Canada and Shell. EV charging stations are available at various locations throughout Montreal and Dorval, with many shopping centres and public parking areas offering charging facilities. The Circuit Électrique network provides extensive coverage across Quebec for electric rental cars.
A hired convertible works well during Montreal's warm summer months from June through August when you can enjoy open-air driving through the city and Quebec countryside. However, consider that Montreal experiences harsh winters with snow and cold temperatures, making convertibles less practical from November through March. Summer road trips to places like the Eastern Townships or along the St. Lawrence River are particularly enjoyable in a rental convertible.
Popular routes include driving east to Quebec City via Autoroute 40 through historic towns and scenic landscapes along the St. Lawrence River. The Eastern Townships route south toward Sherbrooke offers beautiful countryside, vineyards, and charming villages perfect for weekend getaways. Another favourite destination is the Laurentians region north of Montreal, featuring lakes, mountains, and outdoor recreation opportunities year-round.
