It was old yet better than expected. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Price was probably high for such an old car with some visible wear and tear. Pick up was easy. Communication was easy.
The car was very nice, host was good. The only issue was that the address is a little difficult to find.

Diego and Ruth were incredible hosts. They were extremely responsive, and communicated details of pick up and drop off so thoroughly that we were able to show up and drive off minutes later. As for the Subaru itself - a beautiful car in excellent condition. Clean inside and out, no odors, no issues. Add to that it was great on gas, and given recent prices, it was a real benefit. Highly recommend renting from Diego - it’s hosts like him that make Turo the better alternative to traditional rental agencies. We will rent from him again when we return to Tahoe!

Edgar is great but the woman who cleans his cars is not so great. I wanted to extend my trip in the app wouldn't do it but Edgar said that I could keep it until 3:00 the next day so long story short I returned it at 3:00 but did not do it through the app so I got fined late fees and all that but my problem with the lady is the fact that she was ticked off that she only had 2 hours to get the car ready for the next people which had nothing to do with me the car was supposed to be returned at 3:00 p.m. and that's what time it came in so she was very rude and I didn't appreciate it
Great trip! Cesar was so friendly and kind. The car was very clean and easy to operate plus has good gas mileage.

The car was great. Pickup was easy. Would rent again the next time I am in town.

Great car and host would absolutely rent from again. Very friendly and accommodating!

Excellent car. Very clean. Excellent host(s). Would/will rent again!
Great communication!! Great car and very clean, maintained too. I would definitely rent again :)

The car was clean and looked as described. The host was very easy and reliable to communicate with. Directions were easy to follow with pick up and drop off. Would definitely rent this car again. I was traveling with one other person, so the car size was suitable for us and our luggage.

Eric was an exceptional host. Even when my account was temporarily restricted due to issues with Turo, he was patient, understanding, and very helpful throughout the process. He communicated well and worked with me while I was trying to get everything resolved. The car was reliable, and the overall experience was great despite the challenges. I truly appreciate Eric’s professionalism and kindness, and I hope to rent from him again in the future. Highly recommend!
Perfect host, perfect car for our trip would definitely use again Thank you again to the host Micheal!

Vehicle was very great. Nice clean car even left water's and some snacks. Awesome and and easy rental . Recommend for and who is traveling to Reno great car

10/10 experience. Car was clean, smelled good, had a good sound system, comfy seats, plenty of charging ports, and apple carplay to make our navigation simple and easy. Host was extremely kind, would rent again!

Smooth ride. Car was super clean. Good price. I Will rent from these guys again.

Overall it was a good experience. Car was clean and fun to drive. The pickup instructions could have been a lil more clear. Host mentioned it was in Row 3, ended up being in Row 2 (B) which caused a slight delay for check in and pickup. Host agreed to extend the return time. Also there wasnt instructions about parkimg garage exit fees. It was only $2, but was curious if he had a monthly pass and I paid for no reason. All went well in the end. Would rent again.

Very nice car. Will definitely be considering renting from you again. Thank you so much for letting us rent out your Tesla.

Pickup near or at Airports
Turo is committed to making your car rental experience in Reno easy and hassle-free. From smart parking tips to finding nearby gas stations, these insights will ensure you have the best possible journey.
Reno generally follows the usual US road rules, so if you’re used to driving in the States, you’ll feel right at home. Speed limits here are typically 20–30 mph in business and residential areas, 15 mph in active school zones, and up to 65 mph on urban freeways.
Just a heads-up — even when the speed limit says 65 or 70 mph, Nevada law expects you to slow down if conditions aren’t great — like when the roads are slippery, visibility is poor, or other hazards pop up. So be extra cautious near intersections, railroad crossings, city parks, busy traffic, and bad weather.
If you’re visiting during the winter months, be ready for snow, ice, and sometimes tricky visibility —especially on mountain routes like I-80 and Mount Rose Highway. Check the latest road conditions and weather forecast before you set off. And if you’re heading into the mountains, don’t forget to bring chains, use snow tires or all-weather tires marked with the snowflake symbol, and keep a safe distance from other vehicles.
El Dorado Parking Garage, Silver Legacy Parking Garage, and Cal Neva Parking Stadium are key 24/7 parking options in downtown Reno, offering convenient and secure spaces among the many garages available. Situated near popular attractions like the Eldorado Resort Casino, Silver Legacy Resort, Reno Riverwalk, and National Automobile Museum, these garages provide easy access to entertainment, shopping, and dining. With no closing hours, they’re ideal for both long-term and short-term parking.
Street parking is also readily available throughout Reno, with metered spaces enforced Monday through Saturday and free parking on evenings, Sundays, and holidays.
No, there are no toll roads in Reno.
Gas stations in Reno are conveniently located along major roads, arterial streets, and freeway exits. They can also be found near shopping centers, in residential neighborhoods, and throughout commercial zones. If you're driving outside of Reno to another town, gas stations become less frequent along rural stretches or highways, so planning ahead is important.
Reno also has multiple EV charging stations. These are typically located at shopping centers and malls, hotels and casinos, parking garages, university campuses, and resorts or entertainment venues. There is even fast-charging access along long-distance routes such as US Route 95, which connects Reno to Las Vegas and beyond.
Yes, absolutely. While Reno offers plenty of excitement with its lively casinos and buzzing nightlife, the true wonder of this region lies in the breathtaking landscapes just beyond the city limits. Venture into the wild beauty of the Sierra Nevada — where thick forests, dramatic mountain peaks, and crystal-clear lakes await your discovery. With a flexible rental contract and a wide range of vehicles listed on Turo, you can experience everything at your own pace in your own style.
