We had a great day visiting by Francois’s Citroen 2CV Loire Chateaux outside Tours, practically impossible to reach by public transport. His 2CV with the roof rolled back was perfect for the beautiful weather. Francois as a Turo Host could not have been more helpful

C’est un bon rapport qualité prix, mais il ne faut pas s’attendre à une voiture hyper propre et neuve pour le prix proposé. Elle fonctionne très bien, nous n’avons juste pas réussi à fermer intégralement à clé la voiture. Les échanges avec Jean-Marc étaient très fluides et nous n’hésiterons pas à relouer sa voiture si nous revenons dans la région.
Voiture avec beaucoup de kms mais très bien entretenue. Nous n'avons eu aucun problème. Nous l'avons récupéré facilement de façon autonome. Je recommande le voiture de Maodho

To rent a car on Turo, you must create a Turo account, have a valid driver's license and obtain Turo's validation. In France, you must be 18 years of age or older and have held a driver's license for at least two years, or even longer for certain makes and models of vehicle.
You must be 18 or over in the USA, 21 or over in Australia, or 23 or over in Canada. In the UK, you must be 21 or over and have held a UK or EU driving license for at least one year, or another driving license for at least two years.
When you book your first trip, you go through a quick validation procedure by entering your driver's license and other information.In most cases, your request will be approved immediately, and you'll be ready for all your future road trips, whether they be weekends, business trips or family vacations!
Does my Turo car rental include insurance?
On Turo, you don't take out insurance, but rather a protection plan when you book your rental car. There are 3 protection plans that cover the guest's financial responsibility for any damage caused to the vehicle during the reservation. Depending on the protection plan you choose, the price of your rental and the amount you have to pay (in the event of damage) will be higher or lower. Find out more in the Help Center.
Do I need a French driver's license to drive in France?
No, you don't need a French driver's license to reserve a car in France. Driving licenses from the European Union (EU) are accepted. Holders of non-EU licenses not issued in French need an international license or an official translation to drive in France.
Can other people drive the car I've rented?
Yes, multiple guests can drive the car you rent on Turo, as long as they are all licensed to drive. The main driver (the one who rented the car) can add additional drivers at no extra cost or charge. Only the main driver can request additional drivers; Turo hosts cannot do this for you. We encourage you to add additional drivers before your trip begins, although hosts may request to add a driver while a trip is in progress.
To speed up the process, ask your additional driver to create a Turo account and obtain driving authorization before adding them.All drivers must hold a valid driver's license and meet the age requirements of the car you've rented.You can add drivers via the “Trips” tab of the Turo application without additional driver fees or additional costs.
How do I cancel my car rental?
Guests can easily cancel their reservation via the website or mobile application. Cancellation takes effect immediately. In the case of a standard rental (excluding the no-cancellation option), the guest can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before departure, except if the reservation is made less than 25 hours before the start of the trip, in which case the guest can cancel up to one hour before departure. Can I have the car delivered?
On Turo, vehicle delivery is possible. Many vehicles are available for delivery to train stations or airports, and you can also filter the vehicles offering delivery to a specific address. Delivery includes pick-up and return of the vehicle. Depending on the situation, additional charges may apply.
How can I get discounts on my rental?
There are two ways to obtain discounts on your rental. You can spot discounts offered by certain hosts for early bookings at least one week before the start of your trip. You can also get a discount for longer trips, starting from 3 consecutive days.
What is Turo's cleaning and safety policy?
As part of the cleaning policy, hosts are required to thoroughly clean and disinfect their vehicles before each trip, so you can feel safe and comfortable behind the wheel. Turo guests have access to training in advanced cleaning practices to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 or other viruses.
