Experienced a terrifying front-left tire blowout at 100 km/h on Highway 1 during our trip. Upon changing the tire, we discovered extreme pre-existing wear on the inner shoulder—the rubber was completely gone, leaving steel wire exposed along the entire inner circumference. The host was responsive in chat and acknowledged they failed to inspect the tires prior to the booking, offering to handle repairs, but delivering a vehicle with severely neglected, unroadworthy tires posed a massive safety hazard to my life and disrupted the end of our trip.
