The car ran great and was in good condition overall. There was a warning light on, indicating it needed repair but when I asked the owner about it, they said it was just a sensor issue and not to worry.
Communication could have been better: I didn't get a response to my messages until just a few hours before the trip (Turo had to step in and contact the host). That said, once the trip started, communication was smooth.
We found an AirTag-style tracker in the car (not allowed under Turo's policy). It would have been nice to be informed or asked about this.
Also, just a heads-up for other renters: the pickup location is NOT at the Montreal airport, which I hadn't realized beforehand.
