I booked this vehicle for a few guys to go skiing, but I had to cancel due to a flight schedule change that prevented me (the booker) from doing pickup. The host was polite and even offered to meet my arrival time, but their policy strictly limited pickup/drop-off to the primary booker only—no second driver additions for pickup, no transfers, and no refunds or rebookings since the trip was nonrefundable.
I tried every reasonable workaround with both the host and Turo support, but the host was not flexible to make it work for our group even though Turo said it was possible. To be fair, this seems more like a limitation of Turo’s setup than the host personally, but the lack of flexibility from the host left me frustrated and disappointed. Our group ended up booking a 3rd vehicle and I never picked this vehicle up, so I can’t comment on its condition or quality. I’ll happily keep using Turo for solo or couple trips, but I’d avoid it for larger group travel in the future.
Would not book with this host again due to the inflexibility around changes.

Turo requires the primary guest who booked the trip to be the one picking up the vehicle, otherwise it may be treated as a guest no-show. As hosts, we cannot risk penalties or loss of protection. Since the vehicle was never picked up, we do not feel a 3-star rating is fair. Still, we’d be happy to offer you a discount on a future trip.
