This was one of the worst rental experiences I’ve had. The host did not offer contactless drop-off, which made everything unnecessarily complicated from the start. Instead of a simple, smooth pickup, I had to coordinate timing and location directly with the host, which turned into a headache.
Despite providing my flight number and even updating them about my adjusted arrival time, the host was still late and directed me to the wrong location before changing their mind as to where we would meet. After an already long travel day, being left waiting around was incredibly frustrating and unprofessional.
To make matters worse, the in-person handoff situation was chaotic and poorly managed, and it ultimately resulted in me getting hit by another vehicle during the process. What should have been a routine pickup turned into a stressful and unsafe experience.
I would not recommend this host to anyone. The lack of organization, poor communication, and absence of a basic contactless option made this a terrible experience from start to finish.
Once the reservation was made, my multiple messages were ignored until just a few minutes before the trip began. The guest also had no phone service, making communication nearly impossible despite multiple attempts. Additionally, Contactless pickup was never requested, despite my messages outlining options. The guest only mentioned their flight delay at the last minute, leaving me unable to adjust smoothly. The incident mentioned was the guest's fault due to unsafe traffic navigation in parking.
