The car was ok initially. We rented it for 14 days, however on the morning of the 6th day, the air condition went out. We notified the host who asked us to take it to her garage to have the gas for the a/c refilled. This would have taken time away from our vacation as we had specific plans for the days. We visited Niagara Falls from Mississauga without a/c (😐). When we visited Toronto on the 11th day, we experienced difficulties with the car itself, where it did not want to move at times when pressing the accelerator. This was told to the host, who indicated that she had never had this problem but that we should restart the car at the traffic lights. We did this, got back to our bnb and the host collected the car. We had to book another rental from a car rental for the balance of days. No refund was received.

Sorry for the inconvenience. The A/C compressor failed unexpectedly during your rental, despite the car passing its Turo inspection a month earlier with everything functioning normally. The accelerator concern was also related to the A/C system and failing compressor, not an engine issue. Unfortunately, this type of failure cannot be predicted beforehand. As mentioned to you in the chat, I contacted Turo on the return day regarding reimbursement, which is processed under Turo’s refund policies.
